About the Role:

We are seeking a Recreational Activities Officer - Coordinator to join one of our aged care clients based in the greater Sydney area.

You will be based at our Head Office in Gordon NSW 2760 and will be required to visit all Thompson Health Care Nursing Homes. Your employment hours will be Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm.

As the RAO Coordinator, you will host programs across our Nursing home network to drive the energy, engagement, and participation from residents into a range of social and recreational activities that will make a positive contribution to their daily lives.

Who you are:

  • Preferred previous experience as a Recreational Activities Officer or a Lifestyle Officer
  • Hosting programs with Nursing Team
  • Willing to travel to all nursing homes.
  • Have effective communication and computer documentation skills.
  • Have passion and genuine care for elderly.
  • Recreational activity knowledge and experience in aged care preferred but not essential.
  • Cert IV in Leisure and Health
